This website is operated by The Lost Supper LLC (dba "Cowamel Gourmet Dulce de Leche"). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Cowamel. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

Product Information & Handcrafted Nature

  • Artisanal Variations: Cowamel is a handcrafted, small-batch product. By purchasing, you acknowledge that slight variations in color, texture, and flavor are a natural result of the artisanal process and do not constitute a product defect.
  • Allergen Warning: All Cowamel products contain milk. Our kitchen also handles tree nuts (such as pecans) and other potential allergens. It is the customer's responsibility to review all ingredient lists provided on the product pages before consumption.

2. Shipping & Delivery

  • Carrier Responsibility: All items are sold pursuant to a shipment contract. This means the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx).
  • Shipping Estimates: Arrival dates provided at checkout are estimates only. Cowamel is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer.

3. Food Safety & Storage

  • Shelf Stability: Our products are shelf-stable until opened. Upon receipt, it is the customer's responsibility to follow the storage instructions printed on the label (Refrigerate After Opening). The Lost Supper LLC is not liable for products that spoil due to improper storage or handling after delivery.

4. Returns & Refunds

  • Perishable Goods: Due to the nature of food products and health and safety regulations, we do not accept physical returns.
  • Case-by-Case Basis: Any requests for refunds or replacements for damaged or unsatisfactory items must be made within 14 days of delivery. The Lost Supper LLC reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases of suspected system abuse.

5. Accuracy of Billing & Account Information

  • We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • In no case shall Cowamel Gourmet Dulce de Leche, our directors, officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of any of our products.

7. Governing Law

  • These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
