Processing Time
All of our Cowamel jars are handcrafted and packed in small batches. Please allow 1–3 business days for your order to be processed and prepared for shipment. You will receive a notification with tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.
Shipping Rates & Carriers
We currently ship via USPS to all 50 states.
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your delivery location.
- To ensure the best value and protection for your jars, we recommend our 4-Jar Tasting Flight, which is specifically weighted for efficient shipping.
Domestic Delivery Estimates
Once your order has been processed, delivery typically takes:
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days.
- Please note that these are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
Product Care & Handling
Our Dulce de Leche is shelf-stable and does not require refrigerated shipping or expedited transit.
- Your jars will arrive at room temperature.
- Important: Please refrigerate your Cowamel jars immediately after opening to maintain freshness and quality.
Damaged or Missing Shipments
We take great care in packing our glass jars to ensure they arrive safely. However, if your order arrives damaged (broken glass or leaking seals), please:
- Take a photo of the damaged product and the packaging.
- Email us at info@cowamel.com within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will work with you to provide a replacement or a refund.
Incorrect Addresses
Cowamel is not responsible for lost or misdirected packages due to incorrect addresses provided at checkout. Please double-check your shipping information before completing your order.
